Data Processing Agreement

Note: This DPA is automatically incorporated into our Terms of Service for all customers. Enterprise customers may request a signed counterpart.

1. Purpose of Agreement

This Data Processing Agreement (DPA) governs how Beatloadr processes personal data on behalf of customers in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

Customer acts as the Data Controller. Beatloadr acts as the Data Processor. We process personal data only as instructed by the Customer and in accordance with this DPA.

3. Data Processing Activities

We process account information, user-uploaded content (audio files, artwork), metadata, YouTube OAuth tokens, and billing information necessary to provide our service.

4. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication (OAuth 2.0), access controls, and regular security audits.

5. Sub-Processors

We engage third-party sub-processors including AWS (infrastructure), Google/YouTube (OAuth and video uploads), Stripe and PayPal (payment processing). All sub-processors meet equivalent data protection standards.

6. Data Subject Rights

Users may exercise rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability. Requests can be submitted through the account dashboard or by contacting privacy@beatloadr.com.

7. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting personal data, we will notify affected users within 72 hours and provide details of the incident and remediation steps.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to provide services. Upon account deletion, all personal data is removed within 24 hours from active systems and 30 days from backups.

9. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in regions where our infrastructure providers operate. All transfers comply with applicable data protection laws including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

10. Audit Rights

Enterprise customers may request audit reports and security documentation. Contact sales@beatloadr.com for audit procedures and documentation.
